Our Leadership

Barry L. Hudson

Barry L Hudson is the principal and founder of BL Hudson Strategies, LLC. He is a distinguished professional with over three decades of experience in leadership, innovation, and strategic communications development. Known for his visionary approach and commitment to excellence, Barry has consistently delivered transformative results across the non-profit, business and government sectors.

His expertise spans communications/public relations, crisis management, event planning, public affairs development, team leadership, and strategic planning, community outreach, making him a sought-after consultant. He has 13 years of executive level experience in local government and over 20 years working in the association and for-profit sectors.

Barry is committed to the Greater Washington community serving on the board of the Boys & Girls Clubs of Greater Washington, former president of the 100 Black Men of Greater Washington, and a founder of the National CARES Mentoring chapter in Washington, D.C.

Barry is a graduate of Howard University where he majored in public relations and minored in business. Professionally, he is a member of the Public Relations Society of America, The National Forum for Black Public Administrators, the Montgomery College Communications Studies Advisory Committee, and is a member of Leadership Greater Washington, D.C. Barry also serves on the board of the Mother Pearl Alumni Association and is a member of the Howard University Alumni Association, and the Omega Psi Phi Fraternity, Inc.
